“Your job listings are incredible. It's so much easier to look for jobs on your newsletter than it is to search through complicated job boards. Not only did you have great jobs listed, but they were all current and I got two job offers in less than two weeks. That's as good as it gets!” Shawn Bryant, Montpellier, Vermont

Job Title: Sports Satire Writer Salary: N/A / Yearly
Location: Chicago (work from home), Illinois Type: Part-Time

Description:

Sports satire website (serioussportsnewsnetwork.com) is in need of content providers - primarily writers, but also anyone with lots of good headline ideas for what amounts to made-up sports news.

There is no monetary compensation initially, but the opportunity offers experience and the chance to get your work printed on a website where it will be read. We can offer internship or college credit, and have done so in the past with students at several Chicago universities, and there is potential for payment down the road for a good fit. Also, we're happy to post links to a web page of your choice as compensation in the early going.

If you're interested, please reply WITH A SAMPLE OF SPORTS SATIRE and any questions. Due to frequency of responses, we can't answer all emails, and therefore will not be able to respond if there is no sample attached. If this means you create a sample specifically for this opportunity, that's OK. Please include a couple of sample sports satire headlines in addition to your writing sample.
